Other Hotels
If you want to be a little closer to campus and the Denton Square, there are a couple of hotels for which we don’t have reserved blocks, but may be of interest. There’s a Springhill Suites by Marriott and a Hampton Inn & Suites off of Dallas Dr./Hwy 77, that are either a longish walk or a short ride from both locations. I haven’t used either of them, so can’t vouch for quality or accommodations, but you’re welcome to check out their reviews online. If you stay at the Embassy Suites at Rayzor Ranch, some nearby walkable things to check out include the Alamo Drafthouse, Herf’s Denton County Tap House, and Andy B’s Bowl Social.
Transportation & Parking Information
- From DFW Airport: We recommend a rideshare service, rental, or personal transportation. It’s about a 35 minute ride, which can run $50-60 on Uber/Lyft, depending on time and availability of drivers.
- In Denton: Almost everything of interest is no more than 10-15 minutes away from the hotels, so Uber/Lyfts should be cheap, especially if shared.

- For the days of the event (July 27, 28, and 29), we have reserved Lot E20, directly adjacent to the Gateway Center, from 8 a.m.-8 p.m.. You may park in any space except for the AA Reserved spaces (unless you have a qualified vehicle with an ADA license plate or hangtag).
- Campus Parking Map: Gateway Center is located at G-7; Lot E20 is right across North Texas Blvd from the Gateway.
