The Comics Studies Society extends its deepest sympathy and affirms its ongoing solidarity with and support for the students, faculty, and staff of Michigan State University in response to the recent violent assault on their campus. MSU was the generous host and collaborator for our 2022 conference and will be again for future conferences: we look forward to returning. All comics scholars have a deep affinity with MSU, and we grieve for those lost and suffering after yet another act of senseless gun violence at an American school. We wish MSU strength and comfort as its community mourns.
