Comics as a medium and subject of study in India remains marginalized in the absence of formal training programs and collections in libraries and archives. As a result, a wide range of informal collections and networks have become a way of bridging the gap in community knowledge and comics archives. In this virtual panel discussion, Aarthi Parthasarathy, Arun Prasad, Gurpreet Sidhu, Jeremy Stoll, Mara Thacker, Shreyas R. Krishnan, and Vidyun Sabhaney  focus on different positions in India’s comics world(s) that shape, create, and maintain formal and informal collections.
