As part of the 2022 Comics Studies Society Conference this month at Michigan State University (MSU) in East Lansing, MI on July 28-30, the staff at the Library will offer Behind the Scenes Tours of the Murray & Hong Special Collections, one of the world’s largest comics archives.
Join members of the Special Collections unit and tour of the stacks to see how over 300,000 comics books and related materials are housed for all perpetuity.
Please note that Tour capacity and Times Available are extremely limited.
The Special Collections staff have added this to their regular duties when the library is open for regular business.
Please reserve a spot as soon as possible if you wish to take advantage of this rare opportunity!
Three tours will be held on the following day and times:
Friday, July 29th
- 10:00-10:30 AM
- 10:30-11:00 AM
- 11:00-11:30 AM

In addition to the tours, please plan to visit the Murray & Hong Special Collections Library Popup Exhibit, that will take place in the Special Collections Seminar Room, Friday July 29 from 9:30 AM-12:00 PM.
